Biography - Gail BayneGail has worked in the travel industry for more than 18 years and has more than 23 years of experience in corporate management, finance, and marketing. Since joining R.D. Brown in 1993, Gail has completed multinational projects requiring project coordination and implementation worldwide. Such work has provided Gail with an extensive background in the industry, including the political and cultural challenges of implementation projects in different regions of the world, including Asia, the Pacific Rim, Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and the Americas. She has extensive knowledge in merging multiple corporate policies and procedures, and in handling the various challenges posed by changes in either management, ownership or both. She has handled domestic and international projects, providing a range of consulting services. These include the selection, design, and implementation of electronic expense systems and on-line booking products, as well as the associated employee training; the development and implementation of global travel and expense policies and procedures; management of bid processes and implementations of global travel agencies and credit card programs; the selection and design of global supplier programs for air, car, and hotel, and; the design, negotiation and implementation of global travel supplier contracts. She has extensive experience in project management, implementation methodology, and her skills in project and process analysis enable her to take a project from its initial design and budgeting to full deployment. Gail is a skilled mediator and meeting facilitator. |
