This unique interactive online system establishes your methods of managing travel in a database format to allow for benchmarking of travel management. R.D. Brown Company offers two options for benchmarking your travel program:

Option 1: Project Approach

This is a comprehensive option that involves a visit to your offices for a complete analysis of your travel system and assessment of action needed to close the “gap” between current and best practices. We completely evaluate your travel methods in six components of travel management and compare your practices to those of similar companies within the R.D. Brown database, with more than 500 companies in Asia, Europe, and North America. Benchmarking will be performed in all key travel management areas, plus the following:

  • Work Session with your management staff
  • Global program research completed by company location (for multinational clients)
  • Reservation staff/agency management interviews
  • Traveler / travel arranger survey
  • Process observation, measurement and mapping
  • Benchmarking of travel information
  • Complete Travel System Analysis report with recommendations

Option 2: Self-Evaluation

Clients can evaluate travel methods in six components of travel management and compare practices to those of similar companies within our database. We provide access to an online survey, and you complete the data gathering at your office in as little as 30 minutes or by committee at a slower pace. Your information is confidentially submitted to the database and compared to similar sized companies by R.D. Brown.
